Accessibility Standards to Enhance Viewer Experience
Effective immediately for VoD services with more than 500,000 average monthly users, the new regulations include a mandatory VoD accessibility code. These standards stipulate that 80% of all content must be subtitled, with audio descriptions required for 10% of the catalogue and 5% needing sign language support.
